Drills for Giants on Uneven Bars
Giant swings are one of the more difficult “basic” skills that every gymnast must have. It takes strength (with out them fighting the natural swing) as well as a good tap and extension. There is also the FEAR that many gymnast have. Through the years I have had many gymnasts of all shapes and sizes giant. Here is a collection of drills that I use in that teaching sequence and drills that I use every day.

Clear Hip Circle Progression
USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame Coach MARY LEE TRACY (Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy) shares some great drills for CLEAR HIP CIRCLES.
The CLEAR HIP CIRCLE is one of those skills that every gymnast is going to need at bars to be really successful. KIP DRILLS
The glide kip is one of the most difficult skills we have to teach a beginner team gymnast. If you think about it, it probably takes less time to teach a double back than it takes to teach a kip.
