Tumbling and Trampoline World Championships Schedule
World Trampoline and Tumbling Championships kick off Nov. 9
INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 6, 2017 – America’s top trampoline gymnasts will compete in the 2017 World Trampoline and Tumbling Championships at the Arena Armeec in Sofia, Bulgaria, Nov. 9-12. The USA’s World trampoline squad includes 2016 Olympians Nicole Ahsinger of Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express, and Logan Dooley of Lake Forest, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics; 2017 World Games double mini-trampoline champion Paige Howard of San Juan Capistrano, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics; 2017 World Games silver medalists Austin Nacey of Braidwood, Ill./TwistStars Tumbling and Trampoline, and Alex Renkert of Columbus, Ohio/Integrity Athletics; along with reigning U.S. trampoline champion Jeffrey Gluckstein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy.
More than 700 athletes from 36 countries will participate in the World Championships, which features competition in trampoline, synchronized trampoline, double mini-trampoline and tumbling.
Held following the World Championships, the World Age Group Competition will showcase the world’s best young men and women in those four events in four age groups: 11-12, 13-14, 15-16 and 17-21 years of age.
